About Us
The DRAMS product, originally developed by Grampian Software and latterly Trapeze (part of the Volaris Group), has been around since the early 1970s. DRAMS has been specifically developed to cater for maturing stocks, and over the last 50 years the system has constantly evolved to meet the changing operational, legislative and commercial needs of the Whisky industry, whilst exploiting the expanded technical potential of the evolving IT market. The effectiveness of the DRAMS solution, together with the quality of its dedicated and experienced support team, has made DRAMS the market leader in its field.
Our Customers
A key feature of DRAMS is its scalability from small independent distilleries to large multi-nationals. Today, DRAMS partners with more than 40 distilleries, overseeing inventories from 1,000 to over 4 million barrels.
Present customer sites using DRAMS include those owned by Bacardi, Wm Grant & Sons, Whyte & Mackay, Campari, Beam Inc UK, Inver House Distillers, LVMH, La Martiniquaise, Angus Dundee Distillers, and the North British Distillery. In 2010 the product was successfully installed at the Wild Turkey Distillery in Kentucky and at the Bacardi Tequila and Rum operations in Puerto Rico and Mexico.
DRAMS User Group
Each year, the annual DRAMS User Group offers customers the opportunity to gain valuable insight into the functionality of the DRAMS system, ask questions of its expert team of software developers and industry specialists, and also offer valuable feedback that is then used to further enhance the DRAMS product and its corresponding modules.
Organisation
DRAMS is part of Volaris Group, which is wholly owned by Constellation Software Inc, a publically listed company on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE:CSU). Constellation Software specialises in business critical software products for vertical markets.
